I have projects that require linen that have NOT been pre-shrunk (washed in hot water). Is your pre-washed linen done with cold water by chance? I need the linen to shrink after I wash it to achieve the results I need for my project. Thank you!
After weaving the fabric, we wash it in hot water with soap, then dry it. We also add a bit of fabric softener and tumble dry to enhance its softness.
So, if you're looking for linen (or any other fabric) that hasn't been treated with hot water, you'd likely want what's called 'in-grey' fabric. This is fabric that comes straight off the loom without any additional processing.

Are the lighter colors see through?
The fabric is not see-through, but depending on the lighting and background color, it can appear slightly transparent.
