A notable characteristic of this fabric is its natural wrinkle effect, achieved through the use of high-twisted yarn in the weft. Both the warp and weft consist of linen rayon mixed yarn, with the weft's high twist imparting the distinctive wrinkled texture. This texture can become more pronounced with tumble drying, offering a casual and textured appearance. The combination of linen and rayon ensures the fabric's softness and breathability, making it a practical choice for lightweight garments and accessories.
Since your fabrics are prewashed, do they shrink futher? What are the washing instructions?
As this fabric's nature (wrinkle effect and high rayon potion), the care instruction is a bit complicated.
It is 85% rayon fabric with natural wrinkle effect, the shrinkage rate is about 6~10% to water washing and tumble dry, and it will become 4~7% after ironing it. So we strongly recommen doing pre-shrinkage process before you cutting it.
What I like to suggest for pre-shrinking is spray water on the fabric using sprayer, you do not need to make it soaking wet, and tumble dry. Then the fabric will have much more wrinkle effect. Lightly iron the fabric (with steam would be better), then use it for your sewing project.
After that, the care instruction is handwash in cold water, or machinwash in cold water with gentle cycle, do not bleach, iron with care after drying it. If you add more wrinke effect, tumble dry.
